The Estrella Curved is a six-pointed star hand-punched into tin, shaped into a softly arched form that catches light differently depending on where you place it. The star motif has appeared in New Mexican decorative arts and metalwork for centuries. This is my version of it.
It's designed with a 5–6" taper in mind, but works beautifully with a tealight or votive too. Tealights and votives sit directly in the holder — no insert needed. A taper insert is included for an upright flame. Add a candle at checkout or use your own.
The finish patinas naturally over time. I think that only makes it better.
