Building the 2026 Line
It’s been about a year since I last wrote here.
Over that time, I’ve shifted my focus fully into my tinwork. I’ve moved away from vintage, secondhand, and the small selection of other makers I used to carry. There are still a few items that support the work, but the focus is now on what I’m making.
One thing that’s changed is how I’m offering my candleholders.
I originally designed them with specific candles in mind. The relationship between the two was always intentional, but I had been selling them separately. At some point I realized the candleholders were only telling half the story.
Now I’m bringing them together as sets so the piece can be experienced as intended from the start. There’s no extra step of finding the right candle or working out proportion. That’s already been considered.
I continue to have an affinity for candleholders.
I recently developed a new design for the tealight candleholder format, Flor. The motif came from a nicho design I made for the Contemporary Hispanic Market submission. It was something I kept coming back to, so I carried it into the candleholders. I plan to release additional paint colors for these later in the year.

I’ve also been working on new nichos and have shared some updates on their development on Instagram. Some are meant to hold personal objects or photos, and others incorporate vintage saint images. I’m still working through materials and getting them ready for the shop.

The last couple of weeks I’ve been putting together my market list for the season and will share dates once those are set. The items I offer in each will shift depending on the setting and the market.
I’ve been placed on the alternate list for the Contemporary Hispanic Market this year, and I’ll share an update if that changes.
